ApHER, an Academic Research Organization (ARO), is a partner to the European Network of Centers for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (ENCePP) and authorized as research institution by Statistics Denmark (DST) and The Danish Health Data Authority (SD). We collaborate with a network from academic institutions and university departments in the Nordic and selected European Countries with solid experience in multi-country register analyzes. For each specific project, we build multidisciplinary teams that will develop trustworthy and sustainable solutions from both a scientific and commercial perspective.
Institute of Applied Economics and Health Research ApS (ApHER) is an independent organization specialized in:
Epidemiology studies, Registry research (real life data), PASS studies, Health Technology Assessments and outcome research
Patient reported outcomes measurement and Quality of Life studies (PROM/QoL)
Economic, health economics analyses and socio economic impact analyses of therapy areas, business and policy
We conduct independent research and analyzes with clinical, economical, ethical or policy consequences. We address our customers’ business challenges using a wide range of tools, technologies and models from multiple disciplines as medicine, economics, ethics, database technologies, management science and statistics. Thus, we do not just provide the requested work but further develop and advance your ideas. We believe that our passion for research, scientific curiosity, years of experience within health science research and unique academic network of influential researchers differentiate us. Working with a project we see the pre-defined research questions as the base from which our research take off – from here we guarantee that new interesting and peculiar correlations will emerge revealing essential new understandings necessary for interpreting dynamics in disease epidemiology and prognosis. Our research team has extensive experience within a variety of research. Furthermore, ApEHR has proven its competence within large-scale multi-disciplinary disease studies combining epidemiological, health economic and socioeconomic evidence into knowledge at the research frontier. Since 2010 ApEHR has been responsible for 9 multi country studies (of which 8 are PASS studies) across the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) of which 4 have been finalized during the last 4 years. In addition to this ApEHR participates in several Nordic studies as a partner with responsibility for Denmark. Furthermore, ApEHR currently have the responsibility for 7 other register bases studies focused on Danish data.
