Ole Maaløes Vej 3 Copenhagen N, Capital Region, 2200 DenmarkBioPhenyx helps our customers determine drug targets and drug responses in a multitude of settings from the earliest target discovery to patient response to therapeutics. Exceptional data on the role of molecular targets in disease etiology and their responsiveness to drug candidates are critical for better development of therapeutics. This will reduce attrition rates in development programs and clinical trials. The BioPhenyx team has invented and developed the CRISPR-Select technology to generate unmatched data quality. CRISPR-Select in Nature Genetics: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41588-022-01224-7. CRISPR-Select as Resarch Highlight in Nature Biotechnology: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41587-022-01647-x. We perform precise, fast (weeks), and quantitative analysis of a candidate drug target or a drug response in cells, where we introduce mutation(s) needed to address the question. This is done with no need for cell line generation and clonal selection. We may help to answer the following questions, and more: Is my protein or gene a good drug target? Is my drug candidate working? Does my drug act on-target? Which patient genotypes will respond to my drug? How should my drug best block my target: - Catalytic inhibition? - Protein-protein interaction inhibition? - Elimination of protein expression? Is my mutation benign or pathogenic?

Palle Juul-Jensens Blvd 82 Aarhus, 8200 DenmarkBioXpedia A/S is a contract research laboratory focused on providing high-quality and cost-effective bioanalytical services. Our expertise lies in high-throughput sample preparation and multiomic screening and analyses across various biological levels. We pride ourselves on offering rapid and efficient analyses using multiplex low-volume technologies, maximising the use of your valuable samples. In addition to our laboratory services, we provide biostatistical analyses to extract more information from your data. At BioXpedia, we handle various types of extractions, including RNA, DNA, and protein, from diverse sample types such as tissue, blood, cell-free specimens, and FFPE. Whenever possible, we utilise automated pipetting and perform quality control on all samples prior to analysis. On the DNA level, we specialize in SNP genotyping using the Fluidigm system, which enables high-throughput analysis with low sample requirements. We also offer unrivalled precision and sensitivity using digital PCR (dPCR). By partitioning samples into individual sub-nanolitre volume reactions and counting positive and negative reactions, we can do rare mutation detection, assess gene expression, determine copy number. For gene expression analyses, we offer NanoString nCounter gene expression panels that focus on disease-related genes. This technology relies on the hybridization of target-specific probes without the need for enzymes. Alternatively, gene expression analysis can also be performed on the Fluidigm system or QuantStudio, allowing flexibility in the number of assays or samples. For protein biomarker screening, we offer the exceptional Olink Immuno-PCR Assays. These assays enable high-throughput, multiplex immunoassay panels capable of measuring close to 3000 proteins across 88 samples simultaneously, using only one microliter of serum or plasma. Additionally, we provide absolute protein quantification through Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) and ELISA. With two dedicated cell laboratories, BioXpedia offers diverse services including peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) collection, antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) screening, toxicity assays, EdU Cell Proliferation, and gymnosis/transfection. 79 Islands Brygge København, Capital Region of Denmark, 2300 DenmarkN2MO has a technology to measure the penetration of compounds that can pass the blood-brain barrier (BBB), using grasshoppers as a model organism. The target customers are companies with drug discovery projects for the central nervous system (CNS), having compounds they want to get into the brain. The N2MO technology measures the penetration of the BBB using grasshopper as a model organism. The dissected grasshopper brain is submerged in a solution of the test substance. After a given time the concentration of the substance in the brain is measured and the penetration through the BBB is calculated. The major advantage is the use of only small amounts of test substance. It requires amounts you get from a first synthesis. The other advantage is the ethical considerations that limit the use of mammals in drug discovery.

The Contract Research Map is owned and maintained by Scientist.com. It was created to help researchers in the life sciences identify and connect with contract research organizations (CROs) based on geography. Updated nightly, this map features all of the available CROs within our network, so you can order services with a few clicks. Click on a specific country, scroll on the map itself or type into the search bar at the top—there are many ways to find the location and suppliers that you’re looking for. From Argentina to New Zealand, use this map to connect with a CRO near you.
We believe that every researcher across the world should be able to connect with the thousands of global CROs that exist and have the opportunity to work together. Like many industries, the life science supply chain has been disrupted over the last year. But there are many other circumstances such as international customs regulations or sensitive shipping times that create limitations around which countries are feasible to partner with. Sometimes, finding a CRO based in a country that best suits your research needs is imperative. We hope this contract research map allows you to find the right partner in the right place at the right time.
Have questions or feedback? We’d love to help. You can find our FAQs and contact information on the Learn more page.
Interested in connecting with one or more of the contract research organizations listed on this map?
