720 Broadway Seattle, WA, 98122 United StatesAdvanced Cellular Dynamics is a leading provider of cutting edge cell-based assay panel technologies and services to the life sciences community. At ACD, we believe that cells provide the ideal context for the discovery of biomedically relevant biological and chemical entities. The ability to develop safe and effective entities that manipulate the dynamics of a targeted protein, while avoiding unintended cellular side-effects, is of great importance to drug discovery researchers worldwide. ACD was established to meet this need by developing and deploying cell-based assay panels that encompass broad representations of pharmaceutically relevant gene families; starting with the kinases. ACD’s cell-based assays allow unprecedented examination of a compound’s functional specificity, enabling the development of highly selective and well-characterized drugs that will speed your drug discovery efforts and help you navigate around previously unforeseeable side effects. ACD maintains state of the art laboratory suites that are function specific and physically isolated from each other. This encourages an efficient workflow and prevents the unwanted introduction of potentially contaminating materials or reagents between suites. Our molecular biology facility is equipped to handle all aspects of gene isolation (or synthesis), modification, and expression in either prokaryotic or eukaryotic systems. Once constructed, the appropriate reagents are transferred to our tissue culture suite for production of the corresponding cell-based assay system(s). Finally, the assays are transferred to our screening facilities, where we validate their performance and long-term stability prior to incorporating them into our ever growing panel of assays.

The Contract Research Map is owned and maintained by Scientist.com. It was created to help researchers in the life sciences identify and connect with contract research organizations (CROs) based on geography. Updated nightly, this map features all of the available CROs within our network, so you can order services with a few clicks. Click on a specific country, scroll on the map itself or type into the search bar at the top—there are many ways to find the location and suppliers that you’re looking for. From Argentina to New Zealand, use this map to connect with a CRO near you.
We believe that every researcher across the world should be able to connect with the thousands of global CROs that exist and have the opportunity to work together. Like many industries, the life science supply chain has been disrupted over the last year. But there are many other circumstances such as international customs regulations or sensitive shipping times that create limitations around which countries are feasible to partner with. Sometimes, finding a CRO based in a country that best suits your research needs is imperative. We hope this contract research map allows you to find the right partner in the right place at the right time.
Have questions or feedback? We’d love to help. You can find our FAQs and contact information on the Learn more page.
Interested in connecting with one or more of the contract research organizations listed on this map?
